    Alan & Becky Andrews

    Alan and Becky Andrews became involved with the Navigator ministry while Alan was a student at Marshall University. After graduation from Marshall University in 1966, Alan was a teacher for four years. He taught in West Virginia and Maryland. World History was his love and specialty.

    In 1970, Alan and Becky became Navigator staff and Directed campus ministries in Illinois before becoming Canadian Director, Asia Director, and National Field Leader with the U.S. National Leadership Team, overseeing the Business and Professional, Collegiate, Military, Women of Influence, and NavYouth entities.

    Alan was selected in July 1997 to lead the U.S. work of The Navigators. As the U.S. Director, he oversees the work of more than 2,000 U.S. missionaries serving in the United States and overseas.

    Alan’s contribution to the Truefaced board is in strategic envisioning, organizational systems savvy, theological astuteness, fundraising, and the credibility of a CEO who has seen one a major international ministry experience cultural transformation through the Catalyst/Truefaced process. Alan and his wife, Becky, have three daughters. Amy and Jon Tamblyn of Washington DC, Nancy and Phillip Ruminski and Sandy and Chad Lorenc of Colorado Springs. Alan and Becky are the grandparents of ten beautiful grandchildren. Alan’s hobbies include reading, golf, and jogging.

    Bruce & Janet McNicol

    (President, Leadership Catalyst/Truefaced)

    Bruce grew up in Oregon and California. He began observing leaders and journaling on God’s grace as a Junior High student in Forest Grove, Oregon. Along the way, Bruce earned a bachelors in finance law, a masters in theology and a doctorate in organizational theory and leadership development. Bruce left business and church ministry in the Northwestern United States to serve ten years in Chicago as president of an international leadership development and church planting ministry. In that role, he lead a staff team which designed programs on character and leadership, and started many multi-cultural missions and churches throughout North America.

    Bruce’s greatest love is to walk with rising leaders and couples as they experience the freedom of a Truefaced life. Leaders from all walks of life and vocations seek out Bruce as a friend and mentor, and he speaks to many organizations around the world. Bruce co-authored the best selling Truefaced resources, including The Ascent of a Leader, Truefaced, Beyond Your Best, and coming this summer, Bo’s Cafe.

    Bruce’s and Janet were married in 1981. She serves as a nurse and mentor to young couples. Bruce & Janet’s three children live in Arizona and California; they are Nicole, Chad, and RJ. Bruce enjoys traveling, reading, and learning to play golf (at the board’s direction) from Bill Thrall.

    Scott & Stormy Morrison

    (President, Morrison Ranch)

    Scott Morrison was born in Gilbert, Arizona and has lived there most of his life. Scott and Stormy married in 1979 and have lived in the Gilbert area all but 21⁄2 years. They have four children ranging in age from 26 to 20 who are now spread across the western United States; they are Lacie Morrison, Krista Morrison, Jamie (and Ben Ihms), and Jesse Morrison

    Scott farmed in the Gilbert area for ten years and during that time, he also ministered at William’s Air Force Base with the Navigators. Currently, for the last 16 years, Scott has been involved in master planning the family farm in the Gilbert area. This is turning into a 3,000-acre master planned community with residential, retail, and industrial components. This is a family project which has involved several family members over the years. Scott enjoys involvement with the extended family and the creative process.

    Scott became a believer in 1972 and has been growing in his faith since that time. The Truefaced message has fit into his understanding of what God is doing in his life and he has been around the Truefaced team for the last two years. He and Stormy are pleased to support the ministry with their time and their funds.

    Sheri & John Ness

    Sheri Daye Ness graduated from the University of North Dakota, where she majored In Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) and served on the leadership team with Campus Crusade for Christ. After graduation, she worked as a hospital Human Resources Director.

    Sheri knows who she is in Christ and in life, thanks in no small part to the ongoing ministry of Truefaced and Bo’s Café in her life. She is smart, fun-loving, hardworking, and disciplined. In addition to mothering two remarkable young men, she has been on the leadership team of a local MOMs ministry, a mentor to high school girls, a member of MIT ministry, and a leader in a TrueFaced study group.

    Sheri most often expresses her board governance gifts in coaxing out the answers to the strategic questions of how to keep the Truefaced brand growing and relevant to a new generation of people who are putting their trust in Christ Jesus.

    John Allan Ness, MD is a plastic surgeon with Wayzata Plastic Surgeons in Wayzata, MN.  Sheri and John have been married for 23 years. As a family (Caleb, 17 and Luke 15) the Ness’ enjoy downhill skiing, mountain biking, water skiing, golf and even surfing.  Sheri and John find time to cross-country ski in the winter, run throughout the various Minnesota seasons, and road bike in the summers.  They presently reside in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

    Bill & Grace Thrall

    (Vice-Chairman, Leadership Catalyst/Truefaced)

    Before their involvement in full-time ministry, Bill served for seven years as a CPA and management consultant, including becoming Arizona’s first assistant auditor general. One should never invest too much time with Bill before asking him for a few stories from that era of his life. Bill serves as Vice-Chair of Truefaced.

    In 1973, Bill and Grace established Open Door Fellowship in Phoenix. One learns about Bill’s value system when realizing that that this regionally influential church grew out of several talented, evangelistic rock bands, even though Bill has always preferred the music of George Beverly Shea, Perry Como, and Frank Sinatra. Bill emphasized leadership development, creating effective programs addressing character maturity. Bill is the co-author of the best selling Truefaced resources, The Ascent of a Leader, and Beyond Your Best. He is a mentor to many and leader of leaders.

    Bill and Grace have three married children—Bill (and Charlotte) Thrall, Wende (and Jim Rosania) of Phoenix, and Joy (and Joe Stowell, Jr) of Chicago—and nine grandchildren. Bill is a wood craftsman, a fishing fanatic, an avid golfer, and a gardener you want to know.

    Steve & Barbara Uhlmann

    (President, Uhlmann Family Offices & SKU Consulting)

    (current Chair)

    Steve Uhlmann studied architecture and product design at Arizona State University. He began his career as a mold maker and sold his business with over 35 years of experience in the plastics industry.
    In 1967, Steve started the company that became known as The Tech Group, which has plant sites in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Mexico, Turkey, Ireland and Singapore. Steve is a past president of the Society of Plastics Engineers and past Board of Governors Chairman for the National Plastics Center and Museum. He is a member of the World President’s Organization and has served on the board of various Christian organizations.

    Steve is a visionary who thinks large and understands what it takes to launch young businesses or ministries. Steve and his wife, Barbara, have been a part of launching several ministries in their formative years, including Truefaced. The Ulhmann’s host an office complex for several ministries specializing in marriage and family, including a space that features Bo’s Café, a Bo’s Back Room, a Room of Grace, and a newly commissioned 12-foot mural of the Truefaced story.

    Steve and Barbara have been married for 42 years. Barbara serves as a Lay Counselor at Scottsdale Bible Church and is involved in the Discipleship Ministry and Steve has served on the board. They have two married daughters, Tracy (and Dave Erickson) living in China and Pam (and Dan Smith) living in Arizona, and six grandchildren. Steve enjoys flying, sharp shooting, and being with the family at their Forest Lakes home.

    Dave & Colleen Wall

    Dave began a 21 year career in law enforcement in the mid-70s working on a Chicagoland police force as a 911 dispatcher, supervisor, and detective. Dave was responsible for prosecuting multiple major crimes, and received a Purple Heart and eight distinguished service awards. Dave had already earned the Associate of Applied Science degree in Police Science, but is pursuing his interest in personal financial planning and institutional investment management.

    In May 1990, Dave and his wife Colleen formed Wall & Associates. Their firm currently works with nearly 30 Illinois municipalities in police and fire public pension plans. Dave is a director with the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association and has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

    Dave and his wife Colleen live in Illinois and Arizona. Their two children, Alisha and Nathaniel reside in the Phoenix area. For years, the Wall’s have been interested in helping leaders grow in maturity so they could direct their organizations with integrity and effectiveness. Wall & Associates has also voluntarily managed Truefaced’s 403(b) program since the ministry’s inception. The Wall’s attend Willow Creek Community Church. Dave’s hobbies include golf and enjoying his wife’s fine cuisine.
